Biofertilizers contain living microbes. A little care at application time helps them reach the root zone alive and active.
Do
- Mix powder and granule products such as PHOSPHOVEDA, ZINCOVEDA and RHIZOVAM with farmyard manure (FYM) or compost. For granules and PSB, mix and keep for about 24 hours before use.
- Apply at sowing, and again at the stages given on the product page, for example 20-30 days after sowing and before flowering.
- Use liquid products within 6 hours of mixing them with water.
- Store in a cool, dry place and shake liquids before use.
Do not
- Do not mix biofertilizers with chemical fertilizers and fungicides, and avoid chemical pesticides in the same tank.
- Do not leave mixed solution standing in the sun.
